TITLE
A RESOLUTION AMENDING AND ADOPTING THE 2022 SIDEWALK MAINTENANCE PROGRAM AREA
BODY
WHEREAS, on July 18, 2022, City Council passed RES-00016-2022 to adopt the 2022 Sidewalk Maintenance Program Area in accordance with recommendations from the Department of Engineering, of which a total of 619 parcels were included; and
WHEREAS, on February 13, 2023, the City Council and administration discussed options for moving forward with the 2022 Sidewalk Maintenance Program, of which redefining the Program Area was proposed; and
WHEREAS, the Department of Engineering recommends a redefined Program Area for the 2022 Sidewalk Maintenance Program based upon proximity to local schools and consisting of 260 parcels; and
WHEREAS, the redefined Program Area fits within the approved annual appropriation for sidewalk maintenance repairs and improvements.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GAHANNA, COUNTY OF FRANKLIN, STATE OF OHIO:
Section 1. That the City Council hereby amends and adopts the 2022 Sidewalk Maintenance Program Area to be redefined as described in EXHIBIT A, attached hereto, and made a part herein.
Section 2. That this Resolution shall be in full force and effect after passage by Council and on date of signature of approval by the Mayor.
