A RESOLUTION ADOPTING THE 2022 SIDEWALK MAINTENANCE PROGRAM AREA

WHEREAS, under the Sidewalk Maintenance Program implemented by the City in 2021, each program year requires the adoption of a defined area that identifies the properties that will be included within that year’s Sidewalk Maintenance Program; and
WHEREAS, pursuant to Gahanna Code, this measure constitutes the first legislative step required to be taken by Council in order to commence the 2022 Sidewalk Maintenance Program; and
WHEREAS, the Department of Public Service & Engineering has prepared the 2022 Sidewalk Program Area consistent with Gahanna Code requirements, which includes 619 parcels; and
WHEREAS, upon approval of the 2022 Sidewalk Program Area, an inspection will be completed for the purpose of maintaining those areas in a good and orderly state of repair to protect the health, safety, and welfare of the public.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GAHANNA, COUNTY OF FRANKLIN, STATE OF OHIO:
Section 1. That the City Council hereby adopts the 2022 Sidewalk Maintenance Program Area as described in EXHIBIT A, attached hereto, and made part herein.
Section 2. That this Resolution shall be in full force and effect after passage by this Council and on date of signature of approval by the Mayor.
