TITLE

AN ORDINANCE ACCEPTING PUBLIC INFRASTRUCTURE IMPROVEMENTS ASSOCIATED WITH THE TECH CENTER DRIVE EXTENSION (ST-1086)

BODY

 

WHEREAS, as part of the ADB Safegate project, Tech Center Drive was extended to accommodate the development; and

 

WHEREAS, the roadway construction included storm sewer, domestic waterline, and fiber optic improvements; and

 

WHEREAS, Chapter 1107 of the Codified Ordinances of the City of Gahanna requires that the City formally accept new public infrastructure improvements that are completed as part of a private development; and

 

WHEREAS, now that construction has been completed, and the Department of Engineering has issued a certificate of completion pursuant to Chapter 1105.07, and the developer has requested the infrastructure to be accepted per Gahanna Code; and

 

WHEREAS, it is desirable for the City to now accept the public infrastructure.

 

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GAHANNA, COUNTY OF FRANKLIN, STATE OF OHIO:

 

Section 1. That having met the basic requirements for acceptance, this Council hereby accepts the public infrastructure improvements as part of the Tech Center Drive Extension (ST-1086) associated with the ADB Safegate development as requested by the developer in EXHIBIT A attached hereto and made a part herein.

 

Section 2. That this Ordinance shall be in full force and effect after passage by this Council and 30 days after signature of approval by the Mayor.
