TITLE

A RESOLUTION TO DECLARE THE NECESSITY AND INTENT FOR ACQUIRING/EXPANDING AN EASEMENT FOR THE CLAYCRAFT ROAD WATERLINE AND BOOSTER STATION IMPROVEMENTS

BODY

 

WHEREAS, the City will be upgrading the waterline along Claycraft Road; and

 

WHEREAS, an expansion to an existing easement will be required to facilitate the improvements to waterline and booster station within the project limits.

 

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GAHANNA, COUNTY OF FRANKLIN, STATE OF OHIO:

 

Section 1.  That this Council hereby declares the necessity and intent to acquire/expand an existing easement to facilitate the improvements to waterline and booster station within the project limits on Claycraft Road; pursuant to and in accordance with the Codified Ordinances of the City of Gahanna, the Charter of the City of Gahanna, and the Constitution of the State of Ohio, Chapter 719 and Chapter 163, Ohio Revised Code; said parcels more particularly described in EXHIBIT A, attached hereto, and made a part herein.

 

Section 2. That the Mayor or their representative is hereby authorized and directed to cause a written notice of the adoption of the Resolution to be given to the owner(s), person(s), in possession of and person(s) having a real or possible interest of record in the premises, and said notice shall be served by the Mayor or their representative, who shall make return of said service of notice in the manner provided by law.

 

Section 3. That this Resolution shall be in full force and effective immediately upon passage by this Council and upon signature of approval by the Mayor.
