TITLE
A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE TRANSFER OF FUNDS - Finance Contract Services to Various Employee Wages and Benefits
BODY
WHEREAS, the Departments of Finance and Human Resources have been implementing a new accounting system for payroll, human resources, and timekeeping; and,
WHEREAS, in transitioning to the new systems, the existing systems still had to be maintained, which included a contracted service provider to perform critical payroll functions; and
WHEREAS, the administration has determined that in lieu of a contracted service, a full-time payroll analyst is needed to carry on payroll functions and support the maintenance of the payroll system for the City; and
WHEREAS, the total amount required to transfer is $45,985 from Finance Contracted Services to various accounts.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GAHANNA, COUNTY OF FRANKLIN, STATE OF OHIO:
Section 1. That the Council hereby authorizes the transfer for appropriations as follows:

Section 2. That this Resolution shall be in full force and effect at the earliest period allowed by law.
