AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING A SUPPLEMENTAL APPROPRIATION- Various Accounts.

WHEREAS, the Finance Department has evaluated end of year projections for operating accounts and it was determined that appropriates are unavailable in the Street Fund and Sewer fund; and
WHEREAS, it was also determined that there is an amount due to the City of Columbus for water and sewer, as a result of the transition to monthly utility billing.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GAHANNA, COUNTY OF FRANKLIN, STATE OF OHIO:
Section 1. That City Council authorizes the following supplemental appropriations to the following accounts, as follows:
$29,760.00 from the unappropriated/unencumbered balance of the Street Fund to 220.11.000.5115 in the amount of $20,000.00 and 220.11.000.5135 in the amount of $9,760.00.
$37,600.00 from the unappropriated/unencumbered balance of the Sewer Fund to 661.11.000.5105 in the amount of $10,000.00, 661.11.000.5115 in the amount of $2,500.00, and 661.11.000.5135 in the amount of $25,100.00.
$700,000.00 from the unappropriated/unencumbered balance of the Sewer Fund to 661.11.000.5205.
Section 2. That ORD-098-2020, passed December 21, 2020, is hereby amended to reflect this supplemental appropriation.
Section 3. That this Ordinance shall be in full force and effect after passage by Council and on date of signature approval by the Mayor.
