AN ORDINANCE TO AMEND PART ELEVEN, PLANNING AND ZONING CODE, CHAPTER 1153, GENERAL COMMERCIAL DISTRICTS, SECTIONS 1153.03 - CC COMMUNITY COMMERCIAL DISTRICT, OF THE CODIFIED ORDINANCES OF THE CITY OF GAHANNA.

BODY

WHEREAS, the Planning & Development Department has recommended changes to Sections 1153.03 - CC Community Commercial District, to remove several automotive related uses in the district; and

 

WHEREAS, several other zoning districts allow those uses by right or conditional use, and therefore auto related uses will continue to be allowed in other designated zoning districts; and

 

WHEREAS, the Planning Commission held a public hearing on June 23, 2021, during a regular meeting session, said meeting held pursuant to notice and according to law; and

 

WHEREAS, the Planning Commission Recommended Approval to Council, the Code Change CC-0001-2021.

 

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GAHANNA, COUNTY OF FRANKLIN, STATE OF OHIO:

 

Section 1. That City Code, Section 1153.03 - CC Community Commercial District, of the Codified Ordinances of the City of Gahanna, is hereby amended as set forth in EXHIBIT A, attached hereto.

 

Section 2.  That existing City Code, Section 1153.03 - CC Community Commercial District, of the Codified Ordinances of the City of Gahanna, or any Ordinances or parts of Ordinances in conflict herewith, are hereby repealed.

 

Section 3.  That this Ordinance shall be in full force and effect after passage by this Council and 30 days after date of signature approval by the Mayor.
