RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE TRANSFER OF APPROPRIATIONS AMONG VARIOUS ACCOUNTS.

WHEREAS, in March 2020, Council authorized the Mayor to into an agreement with Calfee Strategic Solutions for professional zoning code rewrite services; and
WHEREAS, the consultant left the firm and started a new firm, ZoneCo; and
WHEREAS, Calfee Strategic Solutions no longer has a zoning specialist on staff to assist with zoning code rewrite, and has consulted with ZoneCo for the services; and
WHEREAS, a purchase order was already opened under the Department of Economic Development for said services, at which time, the Department of Planning was under, but the funds were unencumbered; and
WHEREAS, a transfer of funds is requested in order to allow for the newly created Department of Planning to use said funds to cover the costs; and
WHEREAS, no additional funding is requested or needed to cover the costs of said services.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GAHANNA, COUNTY OF FRANKLIN, STATE OF OHIO:
Section 1. City Council hereby authorizes a transfer of appropriations as follows:
From 101.09.000.510- Economic Development Professional Services to 101.12.000.510-Planning Professional Services in the amount of one hundred FORTY-EIGHT thousand seven hundred and fifty dollars ($148,750).
Section 2. That this Resolution shall be in full force and effect at the earliest period allowed by law.
