AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING A SUPPLEMENTAL APPROPRIATION - Insurance Proceeds Due to Damage of City Property.

WHEREAS, when damage occurs to City property, the repairs are paid out of current appropriations; and

 

WHEREAS, when insurance payment is received, it is necessary for those funds to go into the expense accounts that paid for the repairs; and

 

WHEREAS, it is the City’s intention to move these funds on a quarterly basis; and

 

WHEREAS, to move the funds to the appropriate accounts requires a supplemental appropriation.

 

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GAHANNA, COUNTY OF FRANKLIN, STATE OF OHIO:

 

Section 1. That funding in the amount of seven thousand eight hundred and seven dollars ($7,807.00) from the unappropriated General Fund (1010), be transferred to account 1011.1420.5306- Fleet Services.

 

Section 2. That funding in the amount of one hundred forty-two dollars ($142.00) from the Streets Fund (2201), be and is hereby appropriated to account number 2201.1000.5300 - Materials and Supplies.

 

Section 3. That funding in the amount of sixteen thousand one hundred and nine dollars ($16,109.00) from the Special Revenue Fund (2431), be and is hereby appropriated to account number 2431.1400.5300 - Materials and Supplies.

Section 4.  That funding in the amount of six hundred ten dollars ($610.00) from the Water Fund (6510), be and is hereby appropriated to account number 6511.1000.5300 - Materials and Supplies.

 

Section 5. That ORD-098-2020, passed December 21, 2020, is hereby amended to reflect this supplemental appropriation.

 

Section 6. That this Ordinance shall be in full force and effect after passage by Council and on date of signature approval by the Mayor.
