AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING A SUPPLEMENTAL APPROPRIATION; WAIVING SECOND READING - CARES Act.

WHEREAS, the City received an additional $1,278,656.32 in Coronavirus Relief Funds through the CARES Act; and
WHEREAS, additional supplemental appropriations are requested.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GAHANNA, STATE OF OHIO:
Section 1. That an amount of ONE MILLION TWO HUNDRED SEVENTY-EIGHT THOUSAND SIX HUNDRED FIFTY SIX DOLLARS AND THIRTY TWO CENTS ($1,278,656.32) be and is hereby supplementally appropriated to the following accounts:
230.06.000.5212 - CARES Act Grants $200,000 bringing the total to $830,000
230.06.000.5105 - CARES Act Full Time Wages $884,507.60
230.06.000.5130 - CARES Act Retirement $172,478.98
230.06.000.5140 - CARES Act Workers Comp $8,845.08
230.06.000.5145 - CARES Act Medicare $12,825.36
Section 2. That the second reading is hereby waived.
Section 3. That this Ordinance shall be in full force and effect after passage by this Council and on date of signature approval by the Mayor.
