ORDINANCE TO AMEND THE OFFICIAL ZONING MAP OF THE CITY OF GAHANNA ADOPTED BY ORDINANCE 198-96 ON NOVEMBER 19, 1996 AND AS SUBSEQUENTLY AMENDED: Changing the Zoning District of a 14.4 +/- acre parcel located off of Hamilton Road PID# 025-013767 from Select Commercial Planned District; to Limited Multi-Family Residential Development; Larry Canini, applicant.

WHEREAS, the application has been made to the City of Gahanna to rezone 14.4+/- acres, said property located off of Hamilton Road; Parcel ID No. 025-013767; and

 

WHEREAS, the Planning Commission held a public hearing on September 23, 2020, in regular meeting session, said meeting held pursuant to notice and according to law; and

 

WHEREAS, City Council held a Public Hearing on February 15, 2021, in regular meeting, said meeting held pursuant to notice and according to law; and

 

WHEREAS, the City Council Public Hearing date was posted as prescribed by law.

 

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GAHANNA, COUNTY OF FRANKLIN, STATE OF OHIO:

 

Section 1. That the Official Zoning Map, adopted by Ordinance No. 198-96, passed November 19, 1996, as amended, is hereby amended by zoning 14.4 +/- acres, to Limited Multi-Family Residential Development; said acreage more particularly described in EXHIBIT A attached hereto.

 

Section 2.  That the use is limited by overlay language as set forth in Exhibit B, referencing rendering in Exhibit C, attached hereto.

 

Section 3. That the Clerk of Council is hereby directed to amend and recertify the Official Zoning Map of the City of Gahanna, Ohio, to reflect the zoning contained in and approved by this Ordinance.

 

Section 4. That this Ordinance shall be in full force and effect after passage by this Council and 30 days after approval by the Mayor.
