ORDINANCE TO ACCEPT GRANT FUNDS IN THE AMOUNT OF $1,500 FROM THE OHIO PARKS AND RECREATION ASSOCIATION TO USE TOWARDS AN UPDATED TRAIL MAP; AND TO SUPPLEMENTALLY APPROPRIATE SAID GRANT FUNDS.

WHEREAS, the City applied for a grant from the Ohio Parks and Recreation Association for the purpose of updating trail maps; and
WHEREAS, it is the desire of the Parks and Recreation Department to supplementally appropriate these funds in order to for pay said project.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GAHANNA, STATE OF OHIO:
Section 1. That this Council and Administration, on behalf of the citizens of Gahanna do hereby accept the grant from the Ohio Parks & Recreation Association.
Section 2: That funding in the amount of one thousand five hundred dollars ($1,500.00) is hereby supplementally appropriated from the unencumbered, unappropriated balance in the General Fund to Account No. 10108320.5210, Recreation Professional Services.
Section 3. That this Ordinance shall be in full force and effect after passage by Council and on date of signature approval by the Mayor.
