ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR AND DIRECTOR OF PUBLIC SERVICE & ENGINEERING TO ENTER INTO A CONTRACT WITH GREENLOTS TO EXECUTE THE SOFTWARE AS A SERVICE (SAAS) AGREEMENT.

 

BODY

WHEREAS, the City was awarded a 100% reimbursable grant from AEP Ohio to install electric vehicle charging stations at 5 different locations within the city; and

 

WHEREAS, the contractor that installs the charging stations, Greenlots, also provides the management software for operation of the stations; and

 

WHEREAS, this software provides the city the ability to track usage information and device status, provides detailed reports on each charging session and enables the city to charge customers for using the stations,

 

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GAHANNA, COUNTY OF FRANKLIN, STATE OF OHIO:

 

Section 1. That the Mayor and Director of Public Service is hereby authorized to enter into contract with Greenlots, 767 S. Alameda Street, Suite 200, Los Angeles, CA, 90021, for a software as a service agreement attached as EXHIBIT A, and made a part herein.

 

Section 2.  That this Ordinance shall be in full force and effect after passage by this Council and 30 days after date of signature of approval by the Mayor.
