ORDINANCE TO ADOPT THE THOROUGHFARE PLAN REPORT, JULY 3, 2019 BY CARPENTER MARTY TRANSPORTATION, FOR THE CITY OF GAHANNA, OHIO; TO AMEND SECTION 145.02 THOROUGHFARE PLAN, OF CHAPTER 145 PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CODIFIED ORDINANCES OF THE CITY OF GAHANNA.

WHEREAS, Ordinance 21-86 adopted the 1977-78 Master Plan Update; and
WHEREAS, the Thoroughfare Plan was updated and adopted through ORD-0004-2007; and
WHEREAS, Carpenter Marty Transportation was contracted to update the Thoroughfare Plan in 2019; and
WHEREAS, Planning Commission held a Public Meeting on December 18, 2019, on this revised Thoroughfare Plan and recommended to Council its adoption,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GAHANNA, STATE OF OHIO:
Section 1. That this Council hereby adopts the Thoroughfare Plan, dated July 3, 2019 by Carpenter Marty, attached to this ordinance as EXHIBIT A and made a part herein, to be a part of the 1977-78 Master Plan Update.
Section 2. That Section 145.02 Thoroughfare Plan, of Chapter 145 Planning Commission, of the Codified Ordinances of the City of Gahanna is hereby amended as set forth in EXHIBIT B attached hereto.
Section 3. That this ordinance shall be in full force and effect after passage by this Council and 30 days after signature of approval by the Mayor.
