ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO ENTER INTO AGREEMENT WITH THE FRANKLIN COUNTY BOARD OF ELECTIONS FOR USE OF CITY PROPERTY AS POLLING LOCATIONS FOR THE YEAR 2020.

WHEREAS, the Franklin County Board of Elections has used the Gahanna Senior Center and Gahanna City Hall for several years as polling locations; and
WHEREAS, the Franklin County Board of Elections has requested a Memorandum of Understanding for use of the facilities for the calendar year 2020.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GAHANNA, COUNTY OF FRANKLIN, STATE OF OHIO:
Section 1. That the Mayor is hereby authorized to enter into Memorandum of Understanding with the Franklin County Board of Elections for use of City Hall and the Gahanna Senior Center for polling locations; said Agreements attached as EXHIBIT A, and made a part herein.
Section 2. That this Ordinance shall be in full force and effect upon passage by this Council and 30 days after signature approval by the Mayor.
