ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO ENTER INTO PERSONAL SERVICES CONTRACT BETWEEN THE CITY OF GAHANNA AND WILLIAM E. CONROY, II FOR CERTIFIED ELECTRICAL INSPECTION SERVICES.

WHEREAS, the City is required to have in its employ or under contract, alternate personnel to serve in the event of a conflict of interest or the unavailability of the building official, plans examiner or inspector; and
WHEREAS, this is a two-year personal services contract with William E. Conroy II for electrical inspection services and payment is a percentage of the electrical permit fees as defined in Section 1315.04 of the Codified Ordinances of the City of Gahanna,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GAHANNA, COUNTY OF FRANKLIN, STATE OF OHIO:
Section 1. That the Mayor is hereby authorized to enter into contract with William E. Conroy II, 1574 Dry Creek, Granville, Ohio 43023, for electrical inspection services per Section 1315.04 of the Codified Ordinances of the City of Gahanna, said contract attached hereto as EXHIBIT A, and made a part herein.
Section 2. That sufficient funds will be set aside in the 2020 and 2021 Appropriations to cover the herein costs.
Section 3. That this Ordinance shall be in full force and effect after passage by this Council and 30 days after date of signature of approval by the Mayor.
