AN ORDINANCE TO ADOPT THE COMPREHENSIVE LANDSCAPE PLAN, DATED AUGUST14, 2019, FOR THE CITY OF GAHANNA, OHIO.

WHEREAS, Per Chapter 154, it is the responsibility of the Landscape Board to review and recommend a written plan for the care, preservation, pruning, planting, replanting, removal or disposition of trees and shrubs in parks, along streets and in other public areas with such trees and shrubs being designated street trees or park trees; and
WHEREAS, due to the extensive amount of necessary changes to the previous plan, the document has been re-written; and
WHEREAS, the Landscape Board, after review, recommended the updated Comprehensive Landscape Plan dated August 14, 2019, to Council for adoption.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GAHANNA, COUNTY OF FRANKLIN, STATE OF OHIO:
Section 1. That this Council hereby adopts the Comprehensive Landscape Plan, dated August 14, 2019, said plan attached as EXHIBIT A, and made a part herein.
Section 2. That this Ordinance shall be in full force and effect after passage by this Council and 30 days after date of signature approval by the Mayor.
