ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO ENTER INTO LEASE AGREEMENT WITH PITNEY BOWES FOR POSTAGE MACHINE LEASE FOR 60 MONTHS

WHEREAS, the current lease on our mail machine will expire in December, 2019; and
WHEREAS, the Director of Public Service has recommended we enter into a 5 year lease for a Pitney Bowes for the Mailing System and the machine purchased through the Sourcewell Cooperative purchasing agreement contract #041917-PIT); and
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GAHANNA, COUNTY OF FRANKLIN, STATE OF OHIO:
Section 1. That the Mayor is hereby authorized to enter into Lease Agreement with PITNEY BOWES, 3001 Summer Street, Stamford, CT, 06926, for a postage machine, for a 60 month lease at a cost of $538.27 per month; Lease Agreement attached as EXHIBIT A, and made a part herein.
Section 2. That funds have already been appropriated and will be included in the 2020 appropriations.
Section 3. That this Ordinance shall be in full force and effect after passage by this Council and 30 days after signature approval by the Mayor.
