SUPPLEMENTAL APPROPRIATION- AEP Electric Charging Station Grant.

WHEREAS, the City has been approved for AEP Ohio’s EV Charging Station Incentive Program; and
WHERAS, the program provides 100% reimbursement for the installation of electric vehicle charging stations at public sites, workplaces and apartment complexes; and
WHEREAS, the City is working with AEP Ohio representatives to select an approved vendor for the purchase and installation of the stations
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GAHANNA, COUNTY OF FRANKLIN, STATE OF OHIO:
Section 1. That a supplemental appropriation in the amount of $258,556.00 from the unappropriated/unencumbered balance of the General Fund (1010) be appropriated to account number 101.11.440.5505 - Public Service General Services Capital Projects/Improvements
Section 2. That ORD-0010-2019, passed January 29, 2019, is hereby amended to reflect this supplemental appropriation.
Section 3. The second reading is hereby waived.
Section 4. That this Ordinance shall be in full force and effect after passage by Council and on date of signature approval by the Mayor.
