TITLE
TO AMEND ORDINANCE 0016-2019 TO ESTABLISH THE SALARIES FOR PERSONNEL OF THE CITY OF GAHANNA; AND TO DECLARE AN EMERGENCY.

WHEREAS, the Administration is recommending a number of changes to the salary Ordinance passed by ORD-0016-2019; and
WHEREAS, a summary of those changes are outlined in the attached report and reflected in the attached Salary Ordinances for the Personnel of the City of Gahanna.
WHEREAS, it is imperative to move forward with this legislation all for the preservation of the public peace, property, health, safety and welfare;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GAHANNA, COUNTY OF FRANKLIN, STATE OF OHIO:
Section 1. That the 2019 Salary Ordinance for Personnel of the City of Gahanna, is hereby enacted as described in EXHIBIT A, attached hereto and made a part herein.
Section 2. That any Ordinances or parts of Ordinances in conflict herewith are hereby repealed.
Section 3. That the second reading is hereby waived.
Section 4. That, for the reasons set forth in the preamble herein above, this ordinance is declared emergency legislation and shall be in full force and effect immediately upon passage by this Council and on date of signature approval by the Mayor.
