TO AMEND SECTION 133.09 - CAPITAL IMPROVEMENTS FUND, OF CHAPTER 133 - DEPARTMENT OF FINANCE, OF TITLE FIVE- ADMINISTRATIVE, OF THE CODIFIED ORDINANCES OF THE CITY OF GAHANNA.

WHEREAS, the Capital Improvement Fund established by Section 133.09 - Capital Improvements, of the Codified Ordinances of the City of Gahanna, requires amendment in order to allow for the deposit of revenue generated by 75% of the 1% income tax increase which was approved by voters on the May 7, 2019 ballot and to identify allowable uses for the revenue.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GAHANNA, COUNTY OF FRANKLIN, STATE OF OHIO:
Section 1. That City Code, Section 133.09 Capital Improvements Fund, of the Codified Ordinances of the City of Gahanna, is hereby amended as set forth in EXHIBIT A, attached hereto.
Section 2. That existing City Code, Section 133.09 Capital Improvements Fund, of the Codified Ordinances of the City of Gahanna, or any Ordinances or parts of Ordinances in conflict herewith, are hereby repealed.
Section 3. That this Ordinance shall be in full force and effect after passage by this Council and 30 days after date of signature approval by the Mayor.
