TITLE

TO AUTHORIZE THE MAYOR TO ENTER INTO A REAL ESTATE PURCHASE AGREEMENT WITH FOUR PROPERTY OWNERS FOR EASEMENT ACQUISITION FOR THE HEIL DRIVE BRIDGE REPLACEMENT; ST1047.

WHEREAS, the bridge that carries Heil Drive over Sycamore Run is currently rated in poor condition and has been identified as needing replacement as part of the City Bridge Replacement Program; and

WHEREAS, the replacement project will require temporary easements from four (4) property owners, and

WHEREAS, the first step in this process was to declare the necessity of easement acquisition, and was previously approved by Council as SR-0003-2018 on August, 13, 2018.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GAHANNA, STATE OF OHIO:

 

Section 1.  That the Mayor is hereby authorized to enter into contract with the four property owners for easement acquisition for HEIL DRIVE BRIDGE, ST-1047; said contracts attached hereto as EXHIBIT A through EXHIBIT E, and made a part herein.

 

Section 2. That funds in the amount of THIRTEEN THOUSAND THREE HUNDRED FIFTY FIVE DOLLARS ($13,355), have already been appropriated and carried over from 2018 for account 3250.6000.5500.

 

Section 3.  That this Ordinance shall be in full force and effect after passage by this Council and 30 days after signature approval by the Mayor.
