TO AUTHORIZE THE MAYOR TO ENTER INTO CONTRACT WITH CLARKE ENVIRONMENTAL MOSQUITO MANAGEMENT INC., FOR MOSQUITO MANAGEMENT.
BODY
WHEREAS, Franklin County Public Health handles mosquito management for the City of Gahanna through a separate third-party vendor; and
WHEREAS, Franklin County Public Health has awarded the contract to Clarke Environmental Mosquito Management, Inc.; and
WHEREAS, the contract term is for three (3) years, commencing January 1, 2019 and ending December 31, 2021, with the provision for two (2) separate renewals of one (1) year each.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GAHANNA, STATE OF OHIO:
Section 1. That the Mayor is hereby authorized to enter into contract with Clarke Environmental Mosquito Management, Inc. for a three year period beginning January 1, 2019 and ending December 31, 2021; contract attached as EXHIBIT A, and made a part herein.
Section 2. Funding in the amount of TWENTY TWO THOUSAND FOUR HUNDRED FORTY THREE DOLLARS AND NINETY THREE CENTS ($22,443.93) is available in account 1011.0120.5205, to cover the costs for 2019.
Section 3. That this Ordinance shall be in full force and effect after passage by this Council and 30 days after approval by the Mayor.
