TITLE

TO AUTHORIZE AN AGREEMENT WITH PREMIER HOLDING GROUP, LLC FOR TAX ABATEMENT FOR THE PROPERTY LOCATED AT 610 TAYLOR STATION ROAD, PARCEL ID NO. 027-000143; PART OF COUMMUNITY REINVESTMENT AREA #1.

BODY

WHEREAS, Premier Holding Group, LLC wants to construct a 6,300 square foot industrial building at 610 Taylor Station Road that would allow for the creation of 165 full time equivalent jobs and facilitate the creation of 12 new full time equivalent jobs over the next three years; and

WHEREAS, the relocated annual payroll from this project will be $2,784,375 and an additional $449,484 after the new positions are created; and

WHEREAS, in order to make this project financially feasible, the Planning and Development Department is recommending that Gahanna City Council provide a real estate property tax abatement for the construction of the new building.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GAHANNA, COUNTY OF FRANKLIN, STATE OF OHIO;

Section 1.  That the Community Reinvestment Area (CRA) #1 Tax Abatement Agreement with Premier Holding Group, LLC, 610 Taylor Station Road, Gahanna Ohio 43230, is hereby authorized as set forth in EXHIBIT A, attached hereto and made a part herein.

Section 2.  That pursuant to MR-0052-2000, the Director of Planning and Development is authorized as Housing Office to sign this agreement.

Section 3.  That this Ordinance shall be in full force and effect upon passage by Council and 30 days after the signature of approval by the Mayor.
