TO AUTHORIZE THE MAYOR TO ACCEPT A RENEWAL RATE WITH RUMPKE WASTE & RECYCLING SERVICES, FOR 2019 RECYCLING TIPPING/PROCESSING FEES FOR THE CITY OF GAHANNA.

WHEREAS, the City of Gahanna participates in a solid waste consortium that consists of nine other communities in the Central Ohio area and the consortium chose to bid recycling processing separately from refuse hauling; and
WHEREAS, the goal was to bid for $0.00 or cash back per ton for recycling.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GAHANNA, COUNTY OF FRANKLIN, STATE OF OHIO:
Section 1. That the Mayor is hereby authorized to accept a renewal rate with RUMPKE WASTE & RECYCLING SERVICES, 1191 Fields Avenue, Columbus, Ohio 43201, of $0.00 per ton for recycling tipping fee and for recycling processing services for the City of Gahanna, in accordance with bid and City specifications; said contract attached as EXHIBIT A and made a part herein.
Section 3. That this Ordinance shall be in full force and effect immediately after passage by this Council and 30 days after date of signature approval by the Mayor.
