TO AMEND THE CIVIL SERVICE RULES AND REGULATIONS.

WHEREAS, the Division of Police and Human Resources request changes to the hiring process for Police Officers and Police Radio Dispatchers in the Civil Service Rules & Regulations; and
WHEREAS, the Civil Service Commission met on July 10, 2018 and August 18, 2018 to review the proposed changes and voted to recommend them to Council for passage.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GAHANNA, COUNTY OF FRANKLIN, STATE OF OHIO:
Section 1. That the City of Gahanna Civil Service Rules and Regulations are hereby amended; Rules attached as EXHIBIT A, and made a part herein.
Section 2. That this Ordinance shall be in full force and effect upon passage by this Council and 30 days after signature approval by the Mayor.
