Supplemental Appropriation- End of Year Salaries & Benefits

WHEREAS, the Finance Department performed a projection of salaries and benefits to year end to determine if adjustments are required based on staffing and benefit changes; and
WHEREAS, based on the analysis, supplemental appropriations are needed.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GAHANNA, COUNTY OF FRANKLIN, STATE OF OHIO:
Section 1. That funding in the amount of TWENTY SEVEN THOUSAND TWO HUNDRED AND TWENTY FIVE DOLLARS ($27,225) is hereby supplementally appropriated from the unappropriated/unencumbered balance of the General Fund to 101.221.5133, Dispatch Health Insurance; that funding in the amount of TWENTY THOUSAND DOLLARS ($20,000) is hereby supplementally appropriated from the unappropriated/unencumbered balance of the Street Fund to 220.330.5117, Streets Overtime; and that funding in the amount of FIVE THOUSAND DOLLARS ($5,000) is hereby supplementally appropriated from the unappropriated/unencumbered balance of the State Highway Fund to 222.331.5117, State Highway Overtime.
Section 2. That ORD-0102-2017, passed December 18, 2017, is hereby amended to reflect this supplemental appropriation.
Section 3. That this Ordinance shall be in full force and effect after passage by Council and on date of signature approval by the Mayor.
