TO DECLARE THE NECESSITY AND INTENT TO APPROPRIATE REAL ESTATE IN CONNECTION WITH THE HEIL DRIVE BRIDGE REPLACEMENT; IMPROVEMENT NO. ST 1047.

WHEREAS, the bridge that carries Heil Drive over Sycamore Run is in need of replacement; and
WHEREAS, the bridge was rated in poor condition and has been identified as needing replacement as part of our Bridge Replacement Program; and
WHEREAS, the project will require easements from four property owners, and acquiring the easements is the first step in the process.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GAHANNA, COUNTY OF FRANKLIN, STATE OF OHIO:
Section 1. That this Council hereby declares the necessity and intent for four easements for the Heil Bridge Replacement Project; pursuant to and in accordance with the Codified Ordinances of the City of Gahanna; the Charter of the City of Gahanna; and the Constitution of the State of Ohio; Chapter 719 and Chapter 163; Ohio Revised Code; said parcels more particularly described in the easements attached hereto and made a part herein.
Section 2. That the City Attorney or his representative is hereby authorized and directed to cause a written notice of the adoption of this Resolution to be given to the owners, persons in possession of and persons having a real or possible interest of record in the premises described in the easements herein, and said notice shall be served by said City Attorney or his representative, who shall make return of said service of notice in the manner provided by law.
Section 3. That this Statutory Resolution shall be in full force and effect upon passage by this Council and 30 days from date of signature approval by the Mayor.
