Title

SUPPLEMENTAL APPROPRIATION - Reimbursements of legal funds to Special Counsel

Body

WHEREAS, the City has expended legal funds for specialized legal services for purposes including home-rule litigation with the State of Ohio, labor relations and administrative and court appeals challenging decisions by Boards and Commissions of the City; and

WHEREAS, to move the funds to the appropriate account requires a supplemental appropriation.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GAHANNA, STATE OF OHIO:

Section 1.  That funding in the amount of SIXTY-ONE THOUSAND DOLLARS ($61,000) is hereby supplementally appropriated from the unencumbered, unappropriated balance of the General Fund to Account No. 101.181.5232 - Special Counsel.

Section 2. That ORD-0102-2017, passed December 18, 2017, is hereby amended to reflect this supplemental appropriation.

Section 3.  That this ordinance shall be in full force and effect immediately upon passage by this Council and on date of signature approval by the Mayor.
