SUPPLEMENTAL APPROPRIATION- Central Park TIF Streetlights.

WHEREAS, the intersection of Techcenter Drive and Science Boulevard currently has seven streetlight bases that were installed for future lighting needs as the corridor developed, and
WHEREAS, pedestrian and vehicle traffic has increased from new development, and
WHEREAS, in order to ensure public safety it is critical to complete the streetlight system, and
WHEREAS, the streetlights are located within the Central Park TIF District, and the Central Park TIF may pay for the cost of the streetlights, and
WHEREAS, a supplemental appropriation is needed.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GAHANNA, COUNTY OF FRANKLIN, STATE OF OHIO:
Section 1. That the funding in the amount of THIRTY TWO THOUSAND SEVEN HUNDRED AND FIFTY FIVE DOLLARS ($32,755) is hereby supplementally appropriated from the unappropriated, unencumbered balance of the Central Park TIF fund to the Central Park TIF Streetlights Expense Line Item 224.708.5214.
Section 2. That ORD-0102-2017, passed December 8, 2017, is hereby amended to reflect this supplemental appropriation.
Section 3. That this Ordinance shall be in full force and effect after passage by Council and on date of signature approval by the Mayor.
