SUPPLEMENTAL APPROPRIATION- OCJS Grant.

WHEREAS, the Police Department was awarded a federal grant from the Ohio Office of Criminal Justice Services (OCJS) for the purchase and implementation of Use of Force Electronic Submission Software, and
WHEREAS, the grant requires a special fund to account for the activity, and
WHEREAS, in addition to a Motion Resolution to establish a special fund, a supplemental appropriation from the unappropriated, unencumbered balance of the OCJS Grant Fund to the Grant Tech Maintenance is required.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GAHANNA, COUNTY OF FRANKLIN, STATE OF OHIO:
Section 1. That the funding in the amount of FIFTY ONE THOUSAND FIVE HUNDRED DOLLARS ($51,500) is hereby supplementally appropriated from the unappropriated, unencumbered balance of the OCJS Grant fund 239.122 to the Grant Tech Maintenance fund 239.122.5251.
Section 2. That ORD-0102-2017, passed December 8, 2017, is hereby amended to reflect this supplemental appropriation.
Section 3. That this Ordinance shall be in full force and effect after passage by Council and on date of signature approval by the Mayor.
