SUPPLEMENTAL APPROPRIATION - USW Health Plan Expenses

WHEREAS, the United Steelworkers joined the City’s health plan effective January 1, 2018, which activated a clause in their contract allowing for a reimbursement of certain prescription expenses; and
WHEREAS, the cost will exceed the $3,000 the City budgeted for 2018; and
WHEREAS, to move the funds to the appropriate account requires a supplemental appropriation.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GAHANNA, COUNTY OF FRANKLIN, STATE OF OHIO:
Section 1. That funding in the amount of NINE THOUSAND DOLLARS ($9,000) is hereby supplementally appropriated from the unappropriated/unencumbered balance of the General Fund to the USW Rx Reimbursement Fund, Account No. 101.125.5133.0001.
Section 2. That ORD-0102-2017, passed December 18, 2017, is hereby amended to reflect this supplemental appropriation.
Section 3. That this Ordinance shall be in full force and effect after passage by Council and on date of signature approval by the Mayor.
