TO AUTHORIZE THE MAYOR TO ENTER INTO CONTRACT WITH ASSUREVAULT FOR RECORDS MANAGEMENT SERVICES.

WHEREAS, the City is in contract with Fireproof for records storage and records management services, which is set to expire in September, 2018; and
WHEREAS, the Records Coordinator is recommending moving City records to AssureVault, a company located within the City of Gahanna; and
WHEREAS, the City will see a decrease in costs associated with storing and retrieving records.
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GAHANNA, COUNTY OF FRANKLIN, STATE OF OHIO:
Section 1. That the Mayor is hereby authorized to enter into contract with Assurevault, 1831 Deffenbaugh Court, Gahanna, Ohio 43230, for Records Management Services; said contract attached hereto as EXHIBIT A, and made a part herein.
Section 2. That funding was appropriated in 2018 appropriations to cover the herein costs.
Section 3. That this Ordinance shall be in full force and effect after passage by this Council and 30 days after date of signature approval by the Mayor.
