TO RECOGNIZE AND CONGRATULATE THE GAHANNA LINCOLN HIGH SCHOOL GIRLS VARSITY BOWLING TEAM FOR THEIR DIVISION 1 STATE CHAMPIONSHIP TITLE.
BODY
WHEREAS, the Gahanna Lincoln High School Girls Varsity Bowling Team secured its first Division 1 State Championship title on March 10, 2018; and
WHEREAS, Gahanna defeated Kettering Fairmont in the final round; and
WHEREAS, this Council wanted to acknowledge the amazing efforts this team put forth to earn this title; and
WHEREAS, the Mayor has proclaimed April 16, 2018 as Gahanna Girls Bowling Team Day.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GAHANNA, COUNTY OF FRANKLIN, STATE OF OHIO:
Section 1. That this Council hereby recognizes and congratulates the Gahanna Lincoln High School Girls Varsity Bowling Team for their Division 1 State Championship title.
Section 2. That this Resolution shall be in full force and effect immediately after passage by this Council.
