TO AUTHORIZE THE MAYOR TO SIGN AN ADDENDUM CONTRACT WITH THE GAHANNA CONVENTION AND VISITORS BUREAU (CVB) FOR THE OHIO HERB EDUCATION CENTER MANAGEMENT SERVICES.
BODY
WHEREAS, the City desires a third-party to market, manage, and operate the Herb Center for the remainder of 2018 calendar year; and
WHEREAS, the City recognizes that Gahanna CVB and their employees have the knowledge, skills, and abilities to market, manage, and operate the Herb Center as desired by the City at a cost savings to the City.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED, BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GAHANNA, COUNTY OF FRANKLIN, STATE OF OHIO:
Section 1. That the Mayor is hereby authorized to enter into an Addendum Contract with the Gahanna Convention and Visitors Bureau (CVB), 167 Mill Street, Gahanna, Ohio 43230, for management services for the Ohio Herb Education Center; said Addendum Contract attached hereto as EXHIBIT A, and made a part herein.
Section 2. That this Ordinance shall be in full force and effect immediately upon passage by this Council and 30 days after date of signature approval by the Mayor.
