SUPPLEMENTAL APPROPRIATION - Grant Awards

WHEREAS, the City has been awarded a number of grants for the Big Walnut Trail Section 4 project and as grant agreements are being approved and signed the amount awarded needs appropriated to begin the project; and
WHEREAS, the Clean Ohio Trails Fund grant agreement for the Big Walnut Trail Section 4 project has been fully executed; and
WHEREAS, to move the funds to the appropriate account requires a supplemental appropriation.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GAHANNA, COUNTY OF FRANKLIN, STATE OF OHIO:
Section 1. That funding in the amount of EIGHT HUNDRED AND FIFTY THOUSAND DOLLARS ($850,000) is hereby supplementally appropriated from the unappropriated/unencumbered balance of the Permanent Improvement Fund to Permanent Improvement Capital Projects/Improvements 228.122.5596.
Section 2. That ORD-0102-2017, passed December 18, 2017, is hereby amended to reflect this supplemental appropriation.
Section 3. That this Ordinance shall be in full force and effect after passage by Council and on date of signature approval by the Mayor.
