TO AMEND CHAPTER 945, WEEDS AND GRASS, OF THE CODIFIED ORDINANCES OF THE CITY OF GAHANNA.

WHEREAS, the amendment in Chapter 945.01, Definitions, updated the definition of “Noxious”, tied the definition of “Noxious weed” to the definition in Ohio Revised Code, and updated the definition of “Weed”; and
WHEREAS, the amendment in Chapter 945.06, Noxious Weeds or Grass, updated the example list of noxious weeds.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GAHANNA, COUNTY OF FRANKLIN, STATE OF OHIO:
Section 1. That Chapter 945, Weeds and Grass, of the Codified Ordinances of the City of Gahanna is hereby amended as set forth in EXHIBIT A, attached hereto.
Section 2. That existing Chapter 945, Weeds and Grass, or any Ordinances or parts of Ordinances in conflict herewith, are hereby repealed.
Section 3. That this Ordinance shall be in full force and effect after passage by this Council and 30 days after date of signature approval by the Mayor.
