TO AUTHORIZE THE MAYOR TO ENTER INTO CONTRACT WITH OHM ADVISORS TO CREATE A COMPREHENSIVE LAND USE PLAN.
BODY
WHEREAS, the Go Forward Gahanna Strategic Result 1.4: Updated and Accessible Development Plans identified the need for the City to update and unify our existing land use and area plans and in response, the Planning & Development Department issued a request for proposal (RFP) for a comprehensive land use plan; and
WHEREAS, OHM Advisors was selected with Regionomics and Aimpoint as sub-consultants at an anticipated cost of $90,000; and
WHEREAS, funding for this project were previously appropriated for.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GAHANNA, COUNTY OF FRANKLIN, STATE OF OHIO:
Section 1. That the Mayor is hereby authorized to enter into Contract with OHM Advisors to create a comprehensive land use plan; said Contract attached hereto as EXHIBIT A, and made a part herein.
Section 2. That funding in the amount of NINETY THOUSAND DOLLARS ($90,000) has been appropriated in Account No. 101.343.5253 in prior year encumbrances.
Section 2. That this Ordinance shall be in full force and effect after passage by this Council and 30 days after signature approval by the Mayor.
