TO AUTHORIZE THE MAYOR TO ENTER INTO CONTRACT WITH THE MID-OHIO REGIONAL PLANNING COMMISSION (MORPC) FOR THE COMPREHENSIVE, CONTINUING AND COOPERATIVE (3-C) TRANSPORTATION PLANNING PROCESS.
BODY
WHEREAS, the Mid-Ohio Regional Planning Commission (MORPC) sent the City of Gahanna a contract that will solidify the role for providing short and long-range transportation planning for the City; and
WHEREAS, this contract does not change services that MORPC currently provides but it formalizes their role to comply with applicable State and Federal law.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF GAHANNA, COUNTY OF FRANKLIN, STATE OF OHIO:
Section 1. That the Mayor is hereby authorized to enter into Contract with the Mid-Ohio Regional Planning Commission (MORPC) for the comprehensive, continuing and cooperative (3-C) transportation planning process.
Section 2. That this Ordinance shall be in full force and effect after passage by this Council and 30 days after date of signature approval by the Mayor.
