TO ACCEPT MONIES SEIZED IN THE AMOUNT OF $405 AND AWARDED TO THE GAHANNA POLICE PURSUANT TO COURT ORDERS NO. 14CV-11940 & 05CV-7635; AND TO SUPPLEMENTALLY APPROPRIATE $371.00 TO THE LAW ENFORCEMENT TRUST FUND.

WHEREAS, Case 14CV-11940, involved the seizure of monies in the amount of $405 on November 10, 2014, which was awarded to the City; and
WHEREAS, Case 05CV-7635 involved the seizure of property on May 24, 2005; and
WHEREAS, to comply with the various Court Orders to distribute part of the proceeds to the Prosecuting Attorney, Franklin County, Ohio, and Court costs to the Franklin County Common Pleas Clerk of Courts, a supplemental appropriation is needed;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GAHANNA, COUNTY OF FRANKLIN, STATE OF OHIO:
Section 1. That we hereby accept funds in the amount of $405.00.
Section 2. That THREE HUNDRED SEVENTY ONE DOLLARS ($371) is hereby supplementally appropriated from the unencumbered, unappropriated balance of the Law Enforcement Trust Fund to Account No. 225.211.5411, LETF, Police, Law Enforcement Expense.
Section 3. That this Ordinance shall be in full force and effect after passage by this Council and 30 days after date of signature approval by the Mayor.
