TO AUTHORIZE THE MAYOR TO ENTER INTO AGREEMENT WITH CLERKBASE FOR THE ONBOARD WEB APPLICATION PORTAL FOR PURPOSES OF ENTERING, TRACKING AND REPORTING BOARD, COMMISSION AND COMMITTEE MEMBERS.

WHEREAS, the Council office currently uses a computer based software to manage appointments and terms to City boards, commissions and committees that does not have all of the capabilities and features that are necessary; and
WHEREAS, the Council office staff has researched other software that will perform the essential tasks necessary and has recommended we proceed with Clerkbase, for the OnBoard web application portal to meet the needs of the City; and
WHEREAS, there is sufficient funding available to cover the cost herein.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GAHANNA, COUNTY OF FRANKLIN, STATE OF OHIO:
Section 1. That the Mayor is hereby authorized to enter into agreement with Clerkbase, 2220 Plainfield Pike, Cranston, Rhode Island, for the OnBoard web application portal for purposes of entering, tracking and reporting board, commission and committee members; said Agreement attached as EXHIBIT A, and made a part herein.
Section 2. That funding is available in 2017 appropriations to cover the herein costs.
Section 3. That this Ordinance shall be in full force and effect upon passage by this Council and 30 days after signature approval by the Mayor.
