TO AUTHORIZE THE MAYOR TO ENTER INTO AGREEMENT WITH ZED DIGITIAL FOR THE REDESIGN OF THE CITY OF GAHANNA WEBSITE.
BODY
WHEREAS, the City’s website was last updated in 2010; and
WHEREAS, it is the City’s desire to enhance the user experience by providing a website that is responsive, user-friendly, mobile optimized, flexible, easy to navigate with minimal click through rates and that incorporates the latest trends in web development; and
WHEREAS, the City of Gahanna received eight responses to the Request for Proposals (RFP) that was advertised and a staff team was assembled to review and score all eight submissions; and
WHEREAS, upon review, ZED Digital unanimously received the highest amount of points from the review team members; and
WHEREAS, funds to cover this contract are a combination of those carried over from 2016 and newly appropriated in 2017.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GAHANNA, COUNTY OF FRANKLIN, STATE OF OHIO:
Section 1. That the Mayor is hereby authorized to enter into Agreement with ZED DIGITAL, 700 Taylor Road, Suite 290, Gahanna, Ohio 43230, for the redesign of the City’s website; said Agreement attached hereto and made a part herein.
Section 2. That funding in the amount of SIXTY FOUR THOUSAND EIGHT HUNDRED AND EIGHTY THREE DOLLARS ($64,883) is set aside to cover the herein costs.
Section 3. That this Ordinance shall be in full force and effect immediately upon passage by this Council and 30 days after date of signature approval by the Mayor.
