TO AUTHORIZE THE MAYOR TO ENTER INTO CONTRACT WITH TAG PROPERTY LANDSCAPING FOR MUNICIPAL LANDSCAPE MAINTENANCE SERVICES.

WHEREAS, in November 2016, bids for the municipal landscape maintenance contract were opened and reviewed; and
WHEREAS, the lowest responsive and responsible bidder is Tag Property Landscaping; and
WHEREAS, the bid price is $70,000 per year and the contract is for three (3) years with the provision for two (2) separate extensions of one (1) year each; and
WHEREAS, sufficient funds will be set aside in 2017 appropriations to cover the cost.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED, BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GAHANNA, COUNTY OF FRANKLIN, STATE OF OHIO:
Section 1. That the Mayor is hereby authorized to enter into Contract with TAG PROPERTY LANDSCAPING, 7535 Upper Cambridge Way, Westerville, Ohio 43082, for municipal landscape maintenance services; said Contract attached hereto as EXHIBIT A, and made a part herein.
Section 2. That funding in the amount of SEVENTY THOUSAND DOLLARS ($70,000) will be set aside in 2017 appropriations.
Section 3. That this Ordinance shall be in full force and effect after passage by this Council and 30 days after date of signature approval by the Mayor.
