TO AMEND THE ADOPTED BUILDING AND ZONING FEE SCHEDULE.

WHEREAS, the amendments are to clarify some of the current fees and to provide a separate fee for temporary structures; and
WHEREAS, currently tents and temporary structures are a single line item with the same fee on our schedule; and
WHEREAS, instead of charging the same fee for tent structures and temporary structures, which is $101.50, we are proposing to create a separate fee for the temporary structures; and
WHEREAS, the proposed fee for a temporary structure is $307.50, which includes a $50.00 zoning fee and $7.50 fee that is collected for the Ohio Board of Building
Standards; and
WHEREAS, the remaining $250.00 is cost recovery to help offset the cost of plan review, inspections, and administrative costs associated with such structures.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GAHANNA, COUNTY OF FRANKLIN, STATE OF OHIO:
Section 1. That the Building and Zoning Fee Schedule is hereby amended as set forth in EXHIBIT A, attached hereto and made a part herein.
Section 2. That this Ordinance shall be in full force and effect after passage by this Council and 30 days after date of signature of approval by the Mayor.
