TITLE
TO AUTHORIZE THE MAYOR TO ENTER INTO AGREEMENT WITH THE GAHANNA CONVENTION AND VISITORS BUREAU (CVB) FOR THE 2017 CALENDAR YEAR FOR THE PROMOTION AND PUBLICITY OF THE CITY OF GAHANNA.

WHEREAS, the City wishes to enter into agreement with the Gahanna Convention and Visitors Bureau (CVB) for promotion and publicity of the City; and
WHEREAS, there are minor changes in Section II, Part 3 of the agreement from the 2016 agreement; and
WHEREAS, the agreement authorizes the use of lodging tax revenues as reflected in the 2017 budget appropriations and will authorize the CVB to receive 66.67% of the collected lodging tax revenue.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GAHANNA, COUNTY OF FRANKLIN, STATE OF OHIO:
Section 1. That the Mayor is hereby authorized to enter into Agreement with the Gahanna Convention and Visitors Bureau, 167 Mill Street Gahanna, Ohio 43230, for promotion and publicity of the City of Gahanna; Agreement attached as EXHIBIT A, and made a part herein.
Section 2. That funding will be set aside in the 2017 Appropriations to cover the herein costs.
Section 3. That this Ordinance shall be in full force and effect after passage by this Council and 30 days after date of signature approval by the Mayor.
