TO AUTHORIZE THE MAYOR TO ENTER INTO AGREEMENT WITH COMNET SOLUTIONS, LLC FOR A MITEL COMMUNICATIONS SERVER.
BODY
WHEREAS, the Mitel Communications Server is the core piece of equipment that processes and handles phone calls and voicemails to and from our city office phones; and
WHEREAS, today our current contract and support for our Mitel Communications Server costs $17,045 annually and expires December 14, 2016; and
WHEREAS, this agreement will save the City $28,891 over the next three years; and
WHEREAS, funds have been appropriated in the 2016 budget and requested for the 2017 budget.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GAHANNA, COUNTY OF FRANKLIN, STATE OF OHIO:
Section 1. That the Mayor is hereby authorized to enter into a three year maintenance agreement with ComNet Solutions, LLC, 5910 Wilcox Place, Dublin, Ohio 43016 for a Mitel 5000 Communications Server, said Agreement attached hereto as EXHIBIT A, and made a part herein.
Section 2. That this Ordinance shall be in full force and effect immediately upon passage by this Council and 30 days after date of signature approval by the Mayor.
