TITLE
TO AMEND CHAPTER 101, CODIFIED ORDINANCES, OF PART ONE, ADMINISTRATIVE CODE, OF THE CODIFIED ORDINANCES OF THE CITY OF GAHANNA; AND TO DECLARE AN EMERGENCY.
BODY
WHEREAS, the amendment adds language to the code that will allow the Clerk of Council to codify legislation as it becomes effective; and
WHEREAS, this will aid in keeping code current on the website which will be a convenience for both our residents and staff; and
WHEREAS, this change will not incur any additional costs to the City; and
WHEREAS, it is imperative to move forward with this legislation in order keep the Codified Ordinances of the City of Gahanna current and up-to-date on the website, and all for the preservation of the public peace, property, health, safety and welfare.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GAHANNA, COUNTY OF FRANKLIN, STATE OF OHIO:
Section 1. That Chapter 101, Codified Ordinances, of the Codified Ordinances of the City of Gahanna is hereby amended as set forth in EXHIBIT A, attached hereto and made a part herein.
Section 2. That existing Chapter 101, Codified Ordinances, or any Ordinances or parts of Ordinances in conflict herewith, are hereby repealed.
Section 3. That, for the reasons set forth in the preamble herein above, this Ordinance is declared emergency legislation and shall be in full force and effect immediately after passage by this Council and on date of signature approval by the Mayor.
