SUPPLEMENTAL APPROPRIATION - Counsel-Special and Counsel-Labor
Body
WHEREAS, funds from the Counsel - Special and Counsel - Labor accounts have been utilized over the first half of 2016 to pay for the expenses involving the investigation of employee misconduct and are now requested to be returned to their respective funds at this time to cover the budgeted normal expenses of the department; and
WHEREAS, in preparation for the process of fact-finding with the Fraternal Order of Police Collective Bargaining Unit, the department asks for additional funding; and
WHEREAS, additional funds will be needed in both accounts totaling approximately $60,000.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GAHANNA, COUNTY OF FRANKLIN, STATE OF OHIO:
Section 1. That the amount of Twenty Five Thousand Dollars ($25,000) is hereby supplementally appropriated from the unencumbered, unappropriated balance in the General Fund to Account No. 101.181.5232, Counsel - Special, and $35,000 (Thirty Five Thousand Dollars) is hereby appropriated from the unencumbered, unappropriated balance of General Fund to Account No. 101.181.5234 Counsel - Labor, to cover the herein costs.
Section 2. That ORD-0136-2015, passed December 21, 2015, is hereby amended to reflect this supplemental appropriation.
Section 3. That this ordinance shall be in full force and effect at the earliest period allowed by law.
