TO RECOGNIZE AND COMMEND VARUN MIRIYALA FOR PLACING SECOND AT NATIONALS OF THE INVENTION CONVENTION.
BODY
WHEREAS, Varun Miriyala is going into seventh grade at Gahanna Middle School South; and
WHEREAS, Varun Miriyala placed at the Ohio Invention Convention earlier this spring, which qualified him for Nationals of the Invention Convention.
WHEREAS, Varun Miriyala attended the Nationals of the Invention Convention on May 20 and 21st, 2016, in Washington, D.C.; and
WHEREAS, Varun Miriyala took second place with his invention “EZ-Paste” which is considered a unique and eco-efficient toothpaste; and
WHEREAS, it is deemed appropriate and desirable by this Council to honor Varun Miriyala for his placement at the Nationals of the Invention Convention.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GAHANNA, COUNTY OF FRANKLIN, STATE OF OHIO:
Section 1. That this Council, along with Administration, does hereby commend VARUN MIRIYALA for placing second at Nationals of the Invention Convention in Washington, D.C. on May 20 and 21st, 2016.
Section 2. That this Resolution shall be in full force and effect at the earliest period allowed by law.
