TITLE
TO AUTHORIZE THE MAYOR TO ENTER INTO CONTRACT WITH TRANSYSTEMS FOR THE DESIGN SERVICES OF THE HEIL DRIVE AND PIZZURRO PARK BRIDGE REPLACEMENT.
BODY
WHEREAS, the bridges on both Heil Drive and Pizzurro Park are in need of replacement; and
WHEREAS, through the Quality Based Selection process, Transystems has been selected to perform the necessary engineering design work for the Heil Drive and Pizzurro Park Bridge replacements; and
WHEREAS, the fee schedule to perform the work is $89,949 and funds to cover this design work were included in 2016 appropriations.
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GAHANNA, COUNTY OF FRANKLIN, STATE OF OHIO:
Section 1. That the Mayor is hereby authorized to enter into contract with TRANSYSTEMS,1105 Schrock Road, Suite 400, Columbus, Ohio 43229, for the design services of the Heil Drive and Pizzurro Park Bridge Replacement; said contract attached hereto as EXHIBIT A, and made a part herein.
Section 2. That funding in the amount of EIGHTY NINE THOUSAND NINE HUNDRED AND FORTY NINE DOLLARS ($89,949) was set aside in 2016 appropriations in Account No. 325.122.5513, Capital Improvement Fund, to cover the herein costs.
Section 3. That this Ordinance shall be in full force and effect after passage by this Council and 30 days after date of signature approval by the Mayor.
